Davidson Academy and TylerWard
Track One

The Entrepreneurship Track.

Four semester levels. Like calculus, each one builds on the last. Students start with identity and ideas, graduate with a real business running in the world. They can step off at any level with value, or go all the way through.

Format Four semesters, each standalone or stacked
Grades 6th through 12th, auditioned in
Cohort Eight to twelve students per level
Outcome A real shipped business by Level IV

The skills schools aren't teaching.

AI is absorbing the traditional white collar job. Entrepreneurship is becoming the most reliable path to income, impact, and freedom. But most schools are still teaching for a world that no longer exists. This track teaches the skills a modern creator entrepreneur actually needs in 2026 and beyond.

Drawn from twenty years of Tyler's experience building businesses from the basement to Nashville, failing, rebuilding, and doing it again, this curriculum meets students where the world is actually headed. Not where it used to be.

Four levels. Like calculus, but for building a business.

Each semester stands on its own and each one stacks. A student can take only Level I and walk away with real value. A student who goes all the way through Level IV graduates with a running business, the discipline to operate it, and the right strategic questions to ask next.

I Semester One

Foundation

Brand DNA, identity, and idea generation. Who you are, what you believe, and what problem you want to solve. Core AI literacy. The non negotiable internal work.

Exit with a clear voice and a tested idea.

II Semester Two

Build

Content creation, communication, and marketing strategy. Scripting, hooks, storytelling frameworks. Warm and cold outreach. Consistency, persistence, and execution under pressure.

Exit with a brand, an audience, and real momentum.

III Semester Three

Launch

Funnels, CRMs, follow up discipline, and business fundamentals. Stripe, invoicing, taxes, budgets, contracts. Turning attention into revenue without losing your soul.

Exit with a real business earning real money.

IV Semester Four

Integrate

Advanced AI operations, scaling, hiring, and integrating with other creators. Investor pitch readiness. Learning to ask the right strategic questions instead of guessing.

Exit ready for a gap year, college, or both, eyes open.

The twelve core principles.

Twelve real skills. Taught in order. Reinforced through live projects. Mastered by the end of the year.

01

Healthy AI Mastery

Become a manager of AI tools, not a tool yourself. Move at 10x speed with integrity intact.

02

Brand DNA

Who you are. What you believe. What you stand for. The foundation everything else is built on.

03

Idea Generation & Testing

Combine real passion with real ideas. Test cheaply. Fail fast. Iterate until it clicks.

04

Consistency & Persistence

The three dollar per hour phase. The long middle. What separates founders from dreamers.

05

Communication

Warm outreach, cold outreach, keeping relationships alive over years not just weeks.

06

Execution

From idea to shipped. The hardest skill. The one that matters most.

07

Follow Up

The discipline that separates hobbyists from entrepreneurs. Missed follow ups are lost revenue.

08

Funnels & CRMs

How customers move from awareness to purchase. Tracking every conversation that matters.

09

Content Creation

Video, writing, visuals, camera specs, the craft of making something people want to watch or read.

10

Marketing Strategy

Scripts, hooks, storytelling frameworks. Building engagement that actually converts.

11

Storytelling

The most powerful tool in business. The reason art collectibles sell for millions. Story is everything.

12

Business Fundamentals

Stripe, taxes, budgets, investing in yourself, when to hire, when to use AI as a replacement employee.

The operating principles.

AI as a Teaching Tool

Following the Alpha School precedent, AI supports personalized learning paths tailored to each student. Tyler teaches core concepts live. AI fills the gaps and accelerates mastery based on each student's starting point within each level.

Graduation Moment

Every Level IV senior asks a real question. Do I take a gap year to finish building this, or do I go to college to explore something new? Davidson becomes the first school in Nashville where that question is earned and informed.

Grading Philosophy

Closer to a varsity sport than a typical class. Completion, honesty, and follow through matter more than traditional grades. The real world does not forgive a missed customer payment. Neither does this program.

Stop or Stack

A student can take Level I only and get real value. Or take two. Or go the whole way. Each level is complete on its own but compounds with the next. Like calculus, each step up unlocks a new class of problem to solve.

What Tyler brings to this track.

Twenty years of doing the thing, not reading about it. Click each column to see the details.

Column One Real Business Experience Built from zero. Twice. Still operating today.
  • Started two companies from zero. Song House Collective LLC and Tyler Ward Studios. Both operating today, both profitable, both built without investors.
  • Over 60 brand deals negotiated. Across consumer, tech, music, and lifestyle. Tyler has sat across the table from the people students will one day pitch.
  • Managed artists directly. From first release to touring, sync placement, and label conversations. Students learn the back end of the business from someone who has actually run it.
  • Full business operations depth. Stripe, CRMs, funnels, email marketing, payroll, investor relations. The actual machinery of running a modern creative business.
Column Two The Content Game Zero to 10 million plus followers across all businesses, organically.
  • Zero to 10 million plus followers across all of his businesses and combined social platforms, built organically over fifteen years without buying a single ad to start.
  • Over 2 billion combined views and streams since 2010. Proof that independent creators can build at any scale if they do it right.
  • Camera specs, production workflows, post production, scripting, hook writing, retention, analytics. Tyler has lived every part of this craft in the trenches.
  • Nashville's viral hit factory. Song House posts regularly hit millions of views, with artists amassing over 1 billion TikTok views collectively.
Column Three AI as a Current Passion Not theory. Tyler is living it right now.
  • Restructured his own companies around AI tools. Replaced traditional employee roles with AI driven workflows while increasing output.
  • Teaching this in real time because he is living it in real time. Every AI tool and technique taught is one Tyler is currently using in his own businesses.
  • Human first philosophy. AI is the multiplier, not the replacement. Students learn to manage AI, not be managed by it.
  • Ethical integration. Honoring truth, integrity, and story first. Then using AI to scale what is already human and real.
